Bright Monday Moon

Mornin'!  It's 72° this still, humid, muggy morning on the island (humidity is 89%). Seems a bit overcast for the sunrise, but clouds always seem to add drama and color during the sunrises and sunsets.  It'll be similar to yesterday and be mostly sunny with temps hitting the mid-80's.  Breezes are coming from the SW at 8-11mph.  Yesterday turned out to be another breezy, sunny day at the Shore.  That is, until around bedtime when the rains came and rinsed us off.  Same may happen today as there's a 30% chance of a isolated shower or thunderstorm this evening as temps drop back into the 60's.  That  ol' full moon is still shining brightly for at least another day and evening.  It was shining brightly at 5a.m. this morning.
High tide:9:18a.m.
Low tide:3:12p.m.
Ocean temp:69°
Sunset:8:29p.m.
Moonrise:9:30p.m.

Kathy,

My family plans on coming down there the week of Julu 1st. The weather is predicting rain every day. Should I cancel? Please advise.

Dear Anonymous...don't mean to be facetious...but your guess is as good as mine. I didn't see the forecast that far in advance anywhere. I wish I had a crystal ball for this one. During the summer, when the humidity and temperatures are high, there's always that chance of a thunderstorm which usually happens later in the day and doesn't conflict with outdoor activities. I wouldn't cancel but keep your fingers crossed and your statues on the window sills.
