Looking Gray Today

Mornin'!  It's 57° (no typo) in Wildwood.  It's cloudy, calm and very quiet (no breezes at all and no leaves blowing around) except for the sound of the surf pounding onshore.  The clouds are a sound insulator as living six blocks from the beach doesn't automatically mean you can hear the ocean's crashing waves.  Today is one of those mornings the roar is loud and clear.  My parents had a spectacular home not far from I95 in Philly and you could always hear the highway traffic which takes me right back there as the sounds are exact.  The fact that there's no highway here on the island and instead it's the ocean's roar never ceases to put a smile on my face.  So, today we're going to have seasonable weather continue as temps stay where they are...mid-upper 50s.  Winds will be out of the NW once they start wifting (I mean wafting) in at 16-21mph.  The clouds are going to hang out along with Ms Sun once she rises and shines.  They'll be battling it out all throughout the day as there's a 10% chance of showers early today.   By this afternoon we could more peeks of her.  Then tonight...here comes the rain (90% chance) on the overnight. Temps will drop down into the low 40s.  This "rain" (note I didn't use the "S" word yet) event will continue through tomorrow into tomorrow night and once it's out of here, Ms Sun may be competing with the turkey as the star attraction on Thursday.
High tide: 9:28a.m.
Low tide:3:47p.m.
Ocean temp:53°
Sunset:4:41p.m.

Maybe if it's cloudy enough, one day I'll be able to hear myself think!!!
