Wet Thursday

Mornin'!  It's 65° in windy Wildwood.  Welcome back!  Hubby and I made the 800-mile trek (each way) to Georgia and back for our mini vacation with not too much drama. The drive home over the Chesapeake Bay Bridge as well as cruising over the Delaware Bay on the Cape May-Lewes Ferry was one of the on-the-road-again highlights. Nothing better than hitting that "salty air".  It was a much better drive than that ol' trafficky beltway around Washington and through Virginia for the first leg of our trip. But the main highlight was spending relaxing, fun time with our daughter and new son-in-law.  Before you know it...we'll be meeting up with them again for our next vacation together (God-willing) in New Orleans for a Mardi Gras vacation in February!
Onto today's Wildwood weather...it's currently raining and very windy (E-NE) at 20-30mph w/gusting.  It'll be a nasty, mostly wet one today with a 60% chance of rain showers and winds coming off the ocean (E-NE) all day at 25-35mph w/gusting of up to 40+mph.  I don't have to tell you...a very bad hair day.  I doubt if we'll see any sunshine today.  Tonight...cloudy and breezy (E-NE) at 25-30mph w/gusting, 20-30% chance of rain showers and temps in the low 60s.   It's looking like scattered showers for tomorrow and maybe even into Saturday.  Sunday's looking A-OK at this time.
High tide:2:10p.m.
Low tide:7:32a.m. and 8:38p.m.
Ocean temp:72°
Sunset:6:25p.m.
