Mornin'! It's 73° in Wildwood NJ. It's dark and quiet except for the pitter-patter of a soft, gentle rain coming down. It's a little breezy out of the S-SW at 15-20mph. It's very humid (96%). I opened as many windows as I could without allowing the rains to wet the window sills as it's still feeling warm and damp inside the house. The outer bands of Tropical Storm Michael are just beginning to hit our coast this morning. It'll be a washout today with rain on the weather menu as temps get a few degrees higher (mid-70s) as there's a 70-90% chance of rain and/or thunderstorms throughout the day. We could possibly see a peek or two of Ms Sun this afternoon, but I'm going with "nada". Winds will ramp up a bit too out of the S-SW at 20-30mph. Tonight...100% chance of heavy rain and/or thunderstorms (tropical storm conditions possible) with temps around where they are now and winds out of the S-SE at 25-35mph. There's a pretty good chance of tidal flooding as 2"-3" of rain is possible before we retire tonight. Keep an ear out for Flood Sirens. I've already moved my vehicle out of our flood zone. Tomorrow...start to the day will probably be wet as Ms Sun does intend to check back in sometime in the late afternoon. The weekend...a mix of clouds and chilly (mid-upper 50s).
