Sunny Sunday Morning

Mornin'! The Sun's doing its best to get up and out this chilly autumn Sunday morning. It's currently 55 degrees in WW as the sun conflicts with the dark ominous clouds moving at a 15-20mph clip overhead. There's a Coastal Flood Advisory for later today as rains are expected by late this afternoon (70%) and could join the high tide (4:00p.m.) making a challenge for the inexperienced island dwellers. If you have any plans, I'd recommend doing them early in the day before the rains arrive. Don't drive through flooded streets as it's probably salt water and very damaging for the underside of your vehicle. Socks with sandals are not quite as accepted as in San Francisco, but it works for days like these. It's not looking very promising this week (sorry if you're a Vacationer) for comfortable, dry, sunny weather as the rains may be sticking around most of the week. But, the weather folk said the same thing last week and we missed that bullet; so you may want to consider taking the forecast not so seriously! You just never know, but you've been warned. By the way, Low tide is 9:57a.m. and Ocean temp: still warmer than the air at 70 degrees and still dippable. Wonder if that's a word?

I don't know about dippable, but I do know that if it's not lippable, it's not sippable.
