Mornin'! It's 65° in Wildwood. The sun's just about over the horizon and what breezes are out there are not enough to mention. It's very still and quiet. It's as though someone turned off the tourist switch...streets are empty, no one's around and the season is over. Just like that...well, at least until this weekend when the Harley's have all roared to the Shore. Talk about the calm before the storm! There's some weather beautiful, calm weather up ahead...it'll be less humid with temps barely tapping 80°, no rain, blue sky, lots of sun and light breezes (W-NW at 9-10mph) as this is what we call the "Jewel Season". For a brief 4-5 weeks,Wildwood welcomes the "Jewel" which is hands down the most perfect weather of the entire year. Today is a preview. High tide:7:58a.m.
