Happy Labor Day!

Mornin'!  It's 74° in cloudy Wildwood.  Happy Labor Day!  Happy September!  I totally forgot that yesterday was September 1st and never mentioned it in yesterday's blog.  I'm slipping.  It's amazing that here it is Labor Day once again as the summer fades right in front of our eyes.  The vacation population is beginning to fade as well as the island once again becomes mine.  From the first or second week of June until now the island belongs to the visitors and vacationers.  For the next nine months...the locals.  It's why I moved here although hanging with the visitors was and is a lot of fun.  Today's forecast is a typical Labor Day forecast....rain.  It's cloudy and humid and very still with no rain at the moment.  Breezes will pick up just a bit out of the S then SW at 7-10mph.  Temps will increase into the low-mid 80's as rains should commence any point in time.  Not sure about outdoor bbq's today...so I'm pulling out my crockpot for the bbq'd brisket. Tonight...a bit cooler and tomorrow much like today.  The cool front and much more pleasant weather
won't be checked in until Wednesday just in time for the Harleys.
High tide:6:46p.m.
Low tide:12:11p.m.
Ocean temp:73°
