Mornin'!  It's 79° in Wildwood NJ.  Humidity's 65% with a dewpoint of 65°.  Ms Sun's up and shining brightly.  Winds are currently out of the N-NW at 5-10mph.  It's going to be a lovely day down the Shore.  I have to report that there is a "Coastal Flood Advisory" posted all day into this evening mostly likely due to the upcoming New Moon tomorrow.  It's a "Minor" tidal flooding advisory but still shouldn't be ignored.  Know your high tide times, low-lying areas on the island, remember that the back of the island's high tide (the marsh/bay side) is an hour later than the ocean side), expect the possibility of some road closures, don't drive through flood waters and be aware of where you park your vehicle as flood waters will damage the undercarriage of your vehicle and lead to costly repairs.  I wouldn't be surprised if this Advisory continues throughout the entire weekend due to the moon and possibility of rain tomorrow night.

It's partly cloudy while Ms Sun rises and does her best to brighten things up.  Humidity's 81% with a dewpoint of 70°.  Winds are light out of the West at 5-10mph.  It'll be mostly sunny early with the chance of some scattered strong thunderstorms this afternoon (40% chance).  Some storms could contain damaging winds.  Temps will be in the mid-upper 80s.  By the way, we got to 96° yesterday afternoon according to my porch thermometer.  And, I wouldn't be surprised if we're in the 90s again today.  Just saying.  Oh, and just to note, my Air Conditioner went on early yesterday for the first time this year and thankfully kept the perspiration low around here. Mornin'!  It's 65° in Wildwood NJ.  It's cloudy with stiff winds out of the E-NE at 20-25mph.  Quite a change from yesterday's 91° with barely a breeze weather.  Yes, we got up to 91° according to my back porch thermometer.  It's was a hot one and yet, still no AC on here! I knew the weather would take a drastic change last night and stuck it out without turning my air conditioner on.  And, lo and behold, this morning... a whole different can of worms.  All windows are still open but this time, the cool, stiff breezes are filling my home with sea air as the birds are everywhere happily chirping, and singing their praises.  These morning clouds will eventually give way to afternoon sunshine, temps around 70° and E-NE winds not going anyway at 20-30mph.  Tonight... clear to partly clear, temps in the upper 50s and E-SE winds at 10-15mph.  Tomorrow... partly sunny, temps around 70° again with calmer winds out of the South at 10-20mph.  Tomorrow night... partly cloudy becoming overcast late, temps in the mid-60s and South winds at 10-20mph.  Wednesday and Wednesday night have 30-40% chance of rain showers.

Mornin'!  It's 59° in Wildwood NJ.  It's sunny and bright with clear, blue skies.  Breezes are out of the N-NW at 3-5mph.  Birds are chirping everywhere as my windows are open and I'm enjoying their songs along with that very light sea breeze.  Expect another lovely day with abundant sunshine, temps in the low-70s and East winds at 5-10mph.  Tonight... clear sky, temps where they are now (upper 50s) and S-SW winds at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow... more of the same with stiffer breezes.  It'll be mostly sunny, temps in the low-70s and S-SW winds at 10-20mph.  Tomorrow night... clear, temps in the low-60s and S-SW winds at 10-15mph.  Friday... sunny, temps near 80° and W-SW winds at 10-15mph.  Friday night... mostly clear with a few clouds from time to time, temps in the mid-60s and SW winds at 10-15mph.  As for this coming weekend, Saturday will be partly sunny with temps in the upper 70s and SW winds at 10-20mph.  And, Sunday will be partly cloudy to start with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon (50% chance), temps in the upper 70s and W-SW winds at 10-15mph along with the chance of rain continuing into the evening.

Primary Election Day

Mornin'!  It's 51° in chilly Wildwood NJ.  Ms Sun's up and shining through some morning, wispy cloud cover.  Winds are out of the N-NE at 5-10mph.  It'll be sunny again today with temps near 70° and N-NE winds shifting from the S-SE at 10-15mph.  Tonight... partly clear, temps in the upper 50s and W-SW winds at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow... mostly sunny skies, temps around 70° with E-NE winds at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow night... clear, temps in the upper 50s with S-SW winds at 5-10mph.  Thursday... sunny, temps in the low-70s and S-SW winds at 10-20mph.  Thursday night... partly clear becoming clear overnight, temps in the low-60s and SW winds at 10-20mph.  It's with a heavy heart that I'm reporting of a young, missing swimmer who ventured out into not-yet-guarded beach here in Wildwood yesterday.  This is the second drowning (the other was in Ocean City NJ in the middle of May) on the South Jersey coast this year.  Since our beaches are not officially guarded during the week (only weekends from Memorial weekend until June 16th), it's always advised to never go swimming without the lifeguards present.  Not to mention, the rip currents have been in the Moderate zone recently meaning the waves are 2-3' along with a very strong undertow as well as very cold water temps (still under 60°).  Yesterday afternoon, 3 high school kids were rescued by the first responders and fire department but the 4th boy has yet to be recovered as search efforts continued into last evening.  The rip currents are still in that Moderate Zone today.  And, it's Primary Election Day in New Jersey.  Polls for Wildwood are at the Convention Center at 4501 Boardwalk.  For Wildwood Crest it's Crest Pier 1 at 5800 Ocean Ave.  And, for North Wildwood it's 900 Central Ave. Recreation Center. 4.5 square miles is the size of our island by the way.

Mornin'!  It's 68° in Wildwood NJ.  Welcome June!  Ms Sun's up and shining brightly.  There are some clouds on the ocean side of the island and less clouds and more blue sky on the marsh/bay side of the island.  Winds are out of the E-NE at 5-10mph.  We're going to have a mix of sun and clouds today with temps near 70° and E-NE winds at 15-25mph.  Tonight... partly cloudy, temps down into the low-mid 50s and E-NE winds at 15-250mph.  Tomorrow... sunny, temps in the mid-upper 60s and E-NE winds at 10-20mph.  Tomorrow night... clear skies, temps in the upper 50s and W-SW winds at 5-10mph.  Wednesday... sunny, temps in the low-70s and E-NE winds at 5-10mph.  Wednesday night... clear skies, temps around 60° with S-SW winds at 5-10mph.  We may not see rainfall until late Saturday or Sunday.  Get those sprinklers going!  Oh... and I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that it's officially the start to Hurricane Season.  It's from June 1st to November 30th strap in and remember to keep all those Coastal folk in the line of fire in your daily prayers.  Here are their names:
