Mornin'!  It's 57° in Wildwood NJ.  Humidity's 67% with a dewpoint of 46°.  And, with the N-NE winds at 20-25mph +gusting it feels like 53°.  We've got a Nor'easter breathing down our necks.  If it goes as planned, we should begin getting pummeled beginning tonight.  It's currently dry with cloud cover along with those winds.  It's chilly in Wildwood.  Expect a cloudy day with gusty winds (N-NE at 25-35mph) and temps in the upper 60s.  Coastal flooding is very possible at the high tide times.  The ocean's high tide is always an hour before the back of the island's high tide times.  Tonight... strong winds with 70% chance of rain overnight, temps in the upper 50s and North wins at 25-35mph +gusting.  Again, coastal flooding is very probable at high tide.  Tomorrow... cloudy and windy with 90% chance of rain, temps in the low-60s with N-NW winds at 25-35mph +gusting.  Rainfall cloud possibly be over an inch and coastal flood is almost guaranteed during high "King" tide, Full Moon and this Nor'easter.  Tomorrow night... rain likely (90% chance), windy with N-NW winds at 20-30mph and temps in the upper 50s.  Sunday... rain and wind (100% chance), with temps in the low-60s and NW winds at 25-35mph +gusting.  Sunday night... cloudy with occasional rain showers (60% chance), temps around 60° and NW winds calmed down a bit at 15-25mph.  Be vigilant with these upcoming tides.  Know your "high" tide times and low-lying areas so you're not facing flooded streets and a desperate situation.  Know if the area where you leave your vehicle is a safe one.  As for this "big" weekend ahead... Irish Weekend, Classic Car Weekend, Seafarers Weekend, Monster Truck Weekend, and October Fest Weekend, I've seen the Classic Cars all over the island since yesterday, as for Irish Fest which at this time is still happening can be checked on Instagram and Tik Tok for updates (nwirishfallfest or nwirishfest).  October Fest on Morey's Pier has been canceled this weekend, The Monster Trucks have been cancelled as well as Seafarers Weekend in WW Crest.  Remember... secure your property, plants and trashcans.  Don't drive through flood waters.  The salt water can destroy the undercarriage of your vehicle.  Charge you phones.  Have candles and/or flashlights handy.  You know the drill.  Hunker down and be safe!

Mornin'!  It's 62° in Wildwood NJ.  I feel like typing "you're on your own" with this weather.  There's so much going on. I guess I'll start with what's happening right at the moment.  Ms Sun just broke through all the cloud cover. We did have a couple peeks of sun yesterday afternoon, but this morning's sunshine is penetrating through all my east-facing windows right now and is fantastic. Winds are still crazy out of the NE at 25-30mph +gusting.  The winds have been relentless.  We've been on constant watch and clean up with all the tree branches and trash on my property this entire week. Having trees on the property is scary during these turbulent winds.
First, today's weather... expect a partly cloudy / partly sunny day with a slight chance of rain (20% chance), and agitated winds out of the NE at 25-35mph +gusting. Temps will be in the mid-upper 60s. Coastal flooding is possible at the high tide times. Play it smart and stay safe!

The Nor'easter Has Landed

Mornin'!  It's 61° in Wildwood NJ.  Humidity's 87% with a dewpoint of 58°.  It's raining lightly with NE winds at 25-30mph +gusting. We sure have some weather happening this morning!  There are alerts, warnings and advisories all over the place.  There's a "Gale Warning" posted until Friday morning.  There's a high surf and coastal flood warning in effect until Saturday.  There's also a high rip current risk posted.  
As for today's weather... It's currently raining lightly with very windy conditions.  There's a 50% chance of rain throughout the day with cloudy conditions and possible peeks of sunshine this afternoon. These winds aren't checking out until Monday.  Forget about the hair.  More importantly, hunker down and if you have anything that can be blown away or blown down, it's never too late to "secure your stuff" outside for any flying debris and objects.  Today's temps will be in the upper 60s with NE winds at 25-35mph +gusting.  Tonight... overcast and windy.  Temps will be in the low-60s with NE winds at 25-25mph +gusting.  Stay aware of "High Tide" times. Mornin'!  It's 75° in Wildwood NJ.  Humidity's 89% with a dewpoint of 71°.  Winds are out of the S-SE at 5-10mph.  Ms Sun's up and making it through most of the milky clouds along the horizon.  It's almost the Full Moon (tonight around midnight).  In fact, if the skies cooperate that is as we may have cloud cover tonight, we could see a partial lunar eclipse around 10:30PM tonight.  The Moon will pass into the shadow of the Earth creating a partial eclipse.  When the Moon moves through the Earth's darkest part of the shadow (the "umbra"), it causes a partial eclipse turning the Moon a dark, reddish color.  The previous eclipse was 8/16/08 and the next one takes place 9/7/44.
