Ms Sun's Due In Today!

Mornin'!  It's 64° in Wildwood NJ.  Humidity's 97% with a dewpoint of 62°.  Not much in breezes out of the West at 2-3mph.  It's cloudy with an opening right at the ocean's horizon as Ms Sun's about to shine through. It was 5 days ago that Ms Sun kicked off the day.  We're going to see and feel sunshine today believe it or not!  Hopefully, the sun will help with drying us out.  We're still in a saturated, damp, marsh-fragrant mode from the ocean and bay waters flooding us over the weekend.  A mixture of bay mud, silt, minerals stirred up from the Nor'easter has pushed over the streets as well as everyone's properties, leaving a thick layer of organic sediment know locally as bay mud or muck.  It contains decomposed grass, peat and microscopic organic matter and dries on the island on streets, driveways, under everyone's crawl spaces, on vehicles etc and looks like thick black dirt. It's has a heavy smell too.  The island's been incredibly smelly.  Oh, and by the way, those floodwaters and resulting layers of mud can contain bacteria or sewage (back-flow) and boots and gloves should be used when cleaning up.  Lots of clean-up around here. Hours of pumping water from my property (back yard and crawl space) yesterday.  More clean up today as we expect a cloudy start followed by partial clearing, sunshine later this morning / early afternoon, temps near 70° and West winds at 5-10mph.  Tonight... partly clear, temps in the low-60s and winds light and variable.  Tomorrow... a mix of sun and clouds, temps in the low-70s and SW winds at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow night... partly clear becoming cloudy overnight, temps in the low-60s and S-SW winds at 5-10mph.  Thursday... a mix of sun and clouds, temps in the low-70s and S-SW winds at 10-15mph.  Thursday night... clear, temps in the mid-60s and SW winds at 10-15mph.  At this time, the weekend's looking wet.
