See Ya Next Year June!

This Morning's Webcam Shots - North WW
Mornin'!  It's 69° in Wildwood NJ.  Humidity's 90% with a dewpoint of 68°.  It's partly cloudy as Ms Sun rises and paints the sky and those milky clouds with all her pastels. Winds are nothing to report out of the SW at 1mph.  It's very still this morning as the island birds are happily showing their pleasure with the weather on this last day of June.  It'll be a sunny day with a mix of some milky clouds, temps in the low-mid 80s and S-SW winds at 10-15mph.  Tonight... a few clouds from time to time, temps in the low-70s and S-SW winds at 10-15mph.  Tomorrow... sunny, temps in the low-mid 80s and S-SW winds at 10-20mph.  Tomorrow night... partly clear, temps in the low-70s and S-SW winds at 10-20mph.  Thursday... sunny and hot with temps near 90° and S-SW winds at 10-20mph.  Thursday night... clear skies, temps in the low-mid 70s and SW winds at 10-20mph.   Friday... sunny, temps in the low-90s and SW winds at 10-20mph.  Friday night... clear, temps in the upper 70s and W-SW winds at 10-15mph.   Saturday... sunny, temps in the low-90s and SW winds at 10-15mph.  Saturday night... partly cloudy, 30% chance of rain, temps in the mid-70s and W-SW winds at 10-15mph.  Sunday... partly clear start, increasing clouds with 40% chance of showers later in the day, temps in the low-mid 80s and E-SE winds at 10-15mph.  Sunday night... 70% chance of rain, temps in the low-70s.  A couple things... I don't usually give the upcoming weather this far out as I've found out that weather is without question very fickle and trans-formative. But, since it's the holiday week and weekend and many folk are either here already or in the midst of prepping for their seashore getaway, I figured I'd report what the weather-pros are saying now.  One thing is for certain... we're about to have a major heatwave beginning Thursday (maybe even a little preview tomorrow).  It won't be anything like the mainland or Philly area, but it's going to be hot down the shore.  That means high temps and humidity.  Prepare accordingly if dealing with this challenging heat up ahead.  You should know the drill by now... plenty of water, footwear, hat, shade, air-conditioning etc.  And, of course I wanted to say my farewell to June.  She's had some nice weather this year and for that I'm grateful.  Until next year and our paths cross again June, see ya on the other side!
