The Big Story - "The Weather"

Christmas in July Parade - Wildwood NJ
Mornin'!  It's unbelievably 57° in Wildwood.  It's weird out there as this weather we're having is setting new records.  It feels like an autumn morning not 12 days from the Winter Solstice (the shortest day of the year and the 1st day of Winter). Speaking of 12 days...there's 12 days until Christmas which is the next Full Moon. There are no breezes to note which makes it feel even more unseasonable.  With this mild weather as of late, our furnace has been off and with the bedroom windows open during the night, I still found myself sweating during my slumber.  I'm not complaining as this freakish weather is very easy to get used to and like most, I'm enjoying it. Our coast will be back in the 40s by this time next week.  One good thing about returning to the Winter season is it's supposed to do it gradually throughout next week making it not too shocking to our systems.
As for today's weather...it's cloudy and unstirring out there. Everything's covered in dew. You can hear the ocean's roar. You can smell the aroma of the salty marsh. It'll be cloudy with patchy fog to kick off this Sunday.  It should burn off by this afternoon leaving some of those milky clouds.  Temps will be in the upper 60s.  Breezes out of the South at 7-8mph.  Tonight...clouds filtering back in with more of that patchy fog clinging to the island.  Temps down into the low 50s with breezes light and variable (not even noticeable). Tomorrow...80-90% chance of rain (temps will still be in the 60s). Ms Sun's back on Tuesday.
High tide:8:47a.m.
