Red Sky In The Morning...

Mornin'!  It's 31° in Wildwood NJ.  It's partly clear / partly cloudy with hardly a breeze (East 2-4mph).  The partly cloud covered sky is providing that sound insulator for the ocean's waves crashing loud and clear the minute you step outside.  It's cold and crispy with a layer of frost on everything but the best part is that morning sky which is brightening and becoming every shade of gold, purple, red and pink. The sky is just gorgeous this winter's morn.  That little bit of red sky brings me to mind of "sailor's take warning".  There's a Clipper headed this way tonight, overnight and into tomorrow.  We're talking a fast-moving storm.  This storm will move over the island quickly beginning tonight and it's supposed to give us a couple inches of the white stuff.  Get the shovels back out (hopefully we'll only need a broom).   For today though...mostly sunny with clouds in the mix; temps in the mid-upper 30s; breezes out of the East at 8-10mph.  Tonight...clouds check in with E-NE breezes switching to NW at 9-11mph with temps dropping to upper 20s / low 30s and snowfall beginning around 10p.m.  It'll snow on and off through the night into tomorrow with snowfall likely until 1p.m.
High tide:7:23a.m. and 7:46p.m.
Low tide:1:29p.m.
Ocean temp:37°
Sunrise:7:14a.m.
Sunset:5:04p.m.
