Hump Day Mix

Mornin'! It's 54° in Wildwood as dawn approaches (half hour or so). The sky is beginning to lighten and looks overcast as it appears as though the fog could be rolling in. The horizon doesn't have the colorful, pastel look as morning arrives; that's how I see it anyway. The ocean's roar is very loud as I always stand outside and give a personal check on the conditions out there before blogging and I'm 6 blocks away. The Mainland will see a very warm Spring day...not so here. The cool ocean will keep the island cool as temps will remain pretty much the same as they have been...in the 60° zone...closer to the high 60's today though. Sun will be shining most of the day until late this afternoon/early evening when things "may" switch to a possibility of rain and/or thunderstorms. Forecasters are saying it's a "possibility" so WW may get passed over just like yesterday. It's currently "still" with not much of a breeze out of the ENE at 5-10mph. Later, those winds will shift from the SSW at 20-30mph. Tides: high:10:26a.m.; low:4:15p.m.; ocean temp: 49°; 62 days until Summer! One day until knee surgery. I blogged way back in the beginning of February that I began Zumba classes and hurt my knee...you know...raise and rest the leg with ice and be careful. Well, after 2 months of dealing with left knee issues (tests, injections, using a cane etc.)...surgery is scheduled for tomorrow. I'll be hobbling around getting ready to leave for torn meniscus surgery right about this time tomorrow morning. I'll also be hobbling afterward to get to this computer to continue blogging the weather; hopefully, right away...remains to be seen. Saga continues as it's not over until the fat lady sings.

The fog rolls in on little cat's feet.
Now, if we can get the beach patrol to rake up all those cat's feet, the beach can be reopened.
