Red Flag Warnings-A-Flying!

Mornin'! What a forecast...as the Red Flags are flapping in the brisk morning sea air! This is what they're saying: "Weather Advisories", "Hazardous Weather Outlook", "Coastal Flood Warning", "Wind Advisory", "Gale Warnings". It's currently 50° in Wildwood this morning. The day is beginning with cloud cover and breezes coming from the East at 20mph. Those clouds are insulating the island and making the ocean sound pretty angry as its roar is loud and clear six blocks away. Now here's what's predicted...the winds are supposed to increase by late this afternoon into evening and we're talking E-SE winds of 30-35mph with gusts of 50mph (secure anything outside you don't want to blow down). Rain will be developing around the same time and become heavy; (we may see thunderstorms) creating flooding due to the intensity of the rainfall (don't drive through it). The Full moon tomorrow isn't helping either as we all know the moon oversees the tides. The very strong gravitational attraction of the full moon causes the ocean to bulge; thus higher than usual tides. High tide: 7:31p.m.; Low tide:12:59p.m.; Ocean temp:49°. Hang in there...65 days until Summer! Oh...tomorrow is back to the sunshine and 60° temps.
