Long Nights Moon

Mornin'!  It's 34° in WW.  It'll be a partly cloudy/partly sunny one today as a winter whitener is bearing down on our coast for tomorrow.  May be our first case of "snow"...yes...I wrote that.  Today...begins clear and sunny as clouds filter in throughout the day and temps stay in the 30's.  Those pesky hair-do destroying winds will be diminishing later and by early evening should be just about outta here.  For now though...20-25mph out of the NW.  It's a Full Moon today also known as the "Long Nights Moon" (called by some Native American Indian tribes) or "Full Cold Moon" (due to the long cold nights)...duh!  Not sure how much of that Moon we'll see tonight with that cloud cover forecasters are predicting.  For the most part, a nice, crisp winters day!  Oh yeah, don't forget about the island's tidewaters...avoid driving through.
High tide:7:36a.m.
Low tide:1:52p.m.
Ocean temp:52°
Sunset:4:46p.m.
Moonrise:5:19p.m.
