Another Heat Wave Day in Wildwood!

Mornin'!  It's a balmy 76° in the "woods".  Humidity is 91% as the sun's about to cross the horizon.  Not a breath of fresh air or breeze this early morn.  The island's in the soup.  It'll be another day in the midst of a heat wave as we have hazy sunshine, temps in the upper 80's and breezes minimal out of the North at 5mph.  They'll be shifting by mid-afternoon from the S-SE at 7-12mph.  Once again, the beach will be the place to be today.  Another day to be careful though...keep hydrated and have water close at hand.  Wear suncreen.  And, bare feet isn't a good idea however an umbrella sure is.  I saw kids running across a street yesterday in bare feet yelling out in pain as their feet were burning up from the blacktop.  And, the beach sand isn't any cooler than asphalt.  It is a perfect day to be down the shore if you take necessary precautions.  Enjoy if you're one of the lucky ones to be here.
