Christmas in July

Mornin'!  It's 78° in sunny Wildwood.  It's still hazy, hot and humid as we enter like the 5th or 6th day of this heat wave.  It'll be hitting the 90° range again today and feeling like 97° (heat index).  Breezes are nothing to brag about as not a leaf is moving on the trees out front.  They'll breeze on in later from the SW at 15-20mph.  It'll be another decent beach day however isolated thunderstorms are forecasted for our area later this afternoon, into this evening as well as overnight (30-40%).  Keep an eye on the doppler if you're out and about as some of these storms bringing in a cool front could be severe.  I'm sure Santa will be watching as he's due on the beach this afternoon.  And, let's not forget our Christmas Boat parade...keep an eye on the sky! High tide...6?42p.m.; Low Tide:12:06p.m.; Ocean Temp:75°; Sunset: 8:22p.m.

Kathy, Did you ever read "The Last Leaf" by O Henry? (Spoiler Alert):
The last leaf did not move because it was painted on a window. Your post today reminded me of this classic short story of a near terminally ill woman (if I remember correctly).
