Tuesday Mix

Cape May Lewes Ferry
Mornin'!  It's 18° with an overcast sky and winds out of the NW at 18-20mph and a chill factor in the single digits. It took my breath away the moment I stepped onto the back porch this early morn.  In the quiet darkness I could hear yet again water cascading from a broken pipe at one of the properties nearby. Been a lot of that lately. While in work (fire department) that's all one hears over the radio are the calls to go to seasonal properties with broken water pipes. The FFs were busy yesterday with lots of 911 calls as it's become an epidemic. Anyway, back to the task of hand...reporting the most accurate weather I can muster up. It'll mostly overcast today with a mix of clouds and some peeks of sun. Temps will tap the 20° (don't forget to include that chill factor -9°) due to the NW winds kicking up until about dinner time when things should quiet down some. Once things settle down, snow likely tonight, mainly before 2am. Cloudy, with a low around 12. Wind chill values as low as -2. North wind 8 to 14 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible. And, so there should be as yesterday's mid-40s melted the last of the white dirty crust away.  And anyway, what's an island resort without being encased in snow?
