Mornin'! It's 12...yes 12° in Wildwood. Wind chill... -10°. The Storm Watch is over but up until about 11a.m. this morning, the coast could get a dusting of snow. We're currently under a thick blanket of the white stuff...probably 3-4 inches with drifts up to 9-10 inches. Some areas (like my front sidewalk) had an area with no snow at all as it was all piled high on the front steps. It's bitter cold with winds out of the N-NW at 25-30mph w/35mph gusts. Sun's due up in about 45minutes but probably won't see her with the clouds interfering most of the morning. The sky is cloud covered but lightening to a light gray/blue arctic look as I type. Forecasts are saying that it'll be mostly sunny (later this morning) as the winds and windchill and low temps will hang out for a few days. We're in the midst of a major winter cold snap. Don't think we'll see much meltdown for awhile as temps will only reach 16° today with those winds howling...chill factor in the single digits. Going down to 10° tonight. Definitely thermal weather. 57 days until Spring!
High tide:11:30a.m.
Low tide:5:25p.m.
Ocean temp:40°
Sunset:5:07p.m.

It looks as if the storm watch has turned into a storm sundial!
