Winter Storm Warning

Mornin'!  It's 33° in Wildwood.  I'm home from a little mini-vacation this past holiday weekend as hubby and I hung out in the Reading, PA area with our life long friends.  We've hunkered back home on the island just in time for some exciting weather.  Wildwood's in Advisory mode as a winter storm has our island directly in its sight.  We have a Winter Storm Advisory, Gale Warnings posted, Wind Chill Advisory and here's a good one... Freezing Spray Advisory among others. At the moment, it's somewhat clear as the stars and moon can be seen through the partial early morning cloud cover.  Light breezes coming off the ocean can be felt...nothing to write home about.  The sun's due up in just over an hour and we may just see some morning sun breaking through.  By 10-11 o'clock though, things will have made the switch as winds and snow will commence and not stop until past midnight.  We're expected to receive 8-10 inches of the white stuff (I'm hearing "fluffy" thankfully) as the entire east coast is preparing to get pummeled.  One forecast said 5" and another...3".  Guess the accumulation remains to be seen but the shovels are out and standing by the back porch door.  Winds will be out of the NE beginning around noon and by dinner time be 29-32mph w/40+ mph gusts.  Prepare for Snow drifting and Winds chills which will be in the teens as temps barely tap 30° later and tonight...12° w/wind chills in the minuses.  The boots and long underwear are ready!  Be careful out there.  58 days until Spring!  That's all I got.
High tide:10:46a.m.
Low tide:4:49p.m.
Ocean temp:41°
Sunset:5:07p.m.

I hope this snow doesn't take the Spring out of my step.
