9-11

Mornin'!  It's 72° in Wildwood NJ.  We're in the soup with heavy fog.  Humidity's 97% with a Dewpoint of 74°.  It feels like you could cut the air and moisture with a knife.  Everything's soaked and dripping wet.  No breezes to note.  It's still and quiet (except for the sound of dripping everywhere).  It'll be partly cloudy (possibly peeks of sun later but I'm not so sure about that) with temps in the mid-upper 70s and breezes out of the S-SE at 7-9mph.  There's a 30% chance of rain showers this afternoon.  Tonight...partly cloudy with 60% chance of showers, temps in the mid-70s and breezes out of the SE at 4-6mph.  We had no more major tidal flooding yesterday or last night (small amounts along the curbs) thankfully although the flood sirens were blaring notifying those of us left on the island (and it appears hardly any in my neighborhood) to move the vehicles to higher/safer ground.  Tomorrow appears like a full-on sunny day and may be the last one until next week. At this point, any effects from Hurricane Florence (currently heading to the Carolina coast which are undergoing an evacuation as I type) will probably be felt with high surf and winds throughout this coming weekend in Wildwood.  As we remember and commemorate the victims and families of 9/11 today, I also acknowledge and take pride in being married to my wonderful, loving husband of 47 years!  Also, to my daughter and her husband sharing our wedding anniversary and celebrating 8 years of wedded bliss today!
