Today's the Autumn Equinox!

Mornin'!  Happy Autumn!  Today marks the equinox which means "equal" meaning equal amount of daylight hours and equal amount of night hours (equal 12 hours of day and night today).  The Sun's placement is right above the equator leading to perfectly divided amounts of sunrise and sunset both in the east and west.  It happens twice a year...today and again in the Spring.
It's 75° in Wildwood NJ.  Ms Sun's peeking through some early morning cloud cover and it feels a bit on the humid side (86% humidity).  Breezes are out of the N-NE at 9-11mph.  The classic cars are lining up on the Boardwalk to display their classic beauty, the Wildwood's Downtown Farm Market is set up for their Fall sale (I'm sure there's still plenty of Jersey tomatoes still available).  The Vendors at the Irish Fest are set up on Old New Jersey Avenue in North Wildwood and of course, Wildwood Crest is getting ready for its Seafarers Weekend along Sunset Lake.  Wildwood's happening this weekend with this first day of Fall!  It'll be a partly cloudy start to the day with Ms Sun trying to shine down most of the day.  Temps will be around where they are now...mid 70s with breezes out of the NE at 10-14mph.  Tonight...mostly cloudy with some almost full moon clear spots as temps begin to lower into the mid-upper 60s with breezes out of the E-NE at 10-13mph.  The overnight has 30% chance of rain in the forecast with 60% chance of rain tomorrow.  It's looking like a cool (lower 60s), breezy and wet day tomorrow.  The Full Moon is Monday and tides will be higher than normal.

Low tide: 12:41p.m.
