Transitional Friday - Clouds Clearing Out

Mornin'!  It's 75° in Wildwood NJ.  We're under cloud cover at the moment with humid (83%) and windy conditions (W-NW at 18-22mph +gusting up to 30mph).  The dark, ominous clouds are moving quickly north and clearing out right along the coast as I type.  We had some thunder boomers during the night and got a nice soaking. Everything's been watered nicely from the intense downpours.  Expect mostly cloudy conditions today with a 15% chance of rain this morning as clouds begin to clear out later allowing Ms Sun to begin to peek through by this afternoon. Temps will drop a bit into the low 70s.  Winds will simmer down too and continue to be out of the W-NW at 9-14mph.  Tonight...the clouds begin to clear out completely as we'll see the stars and moon again and feel the upper 60s in temperature with light breezes out of the N-NW at 3-5mph.  The jammed packed island activity weekend is still looking terrific with plenty of sunshine, light breezes and mild autumn temps in the low-mid 70s.
