Memorial Day Early Weather Forecast

Mornin'!  And, what a beauty it is!  It's 67° with Ms Sun shining brightly and light winds out of the South at 6-8mph.  Blog's a bit late due to grocery shopping at 6:45AM.  I'm back, the groceries are put away and I'm sipping coffee, doing the blog with windows wide open, seabreeze wafting in and birds chirping everywhere in my neighborhood.  It's a lovely Spring morning here on the island. We're going to have mostly sunny skies, temps around 70° and Southerly breezes at 10-15mph.  Tonight... mostly clear and moonlit with some light clouds in the mix, temps in the low-mid 60s and S-SW winds at 10-20mph.  Here's where the weather turns. And at the moment, I'm the bearer of not great 2024 Memorial weekend weather news.  Keep in mind, it's still early on the forecasts and we're in the Cape May Bubble and it can all change on a dime (for the better or for the worse).  I also must repeat that it's gorgeous outside at the moment.  I'll be bicycling this morning on the boardwalk.  I wouldn't miss that for the world.  Okay, here goes...
Tomorrow... possibly waking to rain (50% chance), scattered thunderstorms throughout the afternoon, gusty winds and small hail are a possibility, temps in the mid-70s with S-SW winds at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow night... cloudy, occasional rain showers (50% chance), temps in the low 60s and SW winds at 10-15mph.
Friday... showers in the morning (40% chance), cloudy in the afternoon, temps in the mid-70s with W-SW winds at 5-10mph.  Friday night... partly cloudy, temps in the low-60s and light and variable winds.
Saturday... mostly cloudy, possible showers later in the day (30% chance), temps in the low-70s and S-SE winds.  Saturday night... cloudy, temps in the low-60s with S-SW winds at 5-10mph.
Sunday... starting out cloudy with peeks of sun coming in a bit later, there's a 20% chance of rain showers, temps in the low-70s and S-SE winds at 10-15mph.  Sunday night... cloudy with 50% chance of rain, temps in the low 60s with S-SE winds at 10-15mph.
Monday... rain (50% chance), temps in the upper 60s and S-SE winds at 10-20mph. The Full Moon is tomorrow by the way... remember those higher than normal tides and the occasional and possible coastal flooding.

Ocean Temp: 58°
