Mornin'! It's 40° in Wildwood. It's March at its best today! The house began to twitch. It's raining. It's windy with 40-50mph +gusts from the East and will do several shifts. First, from the East, then E-NE, then NE, then N-NE, then by early tomorrow...N-NW. The island's quite blustery with rain pelting down at the moment and appears we'll sustain yet another major storm today; not to mention tidal flooding and even worse more beach erosion. Due to the not-so-freezing cold temperature today (mid-40's), this powerful snowstorm that's traveled across the country will be a wind and rain event as it heads out to sea. Speaking of "sea", there's going to be some rough seas as 10' waves are in the forecast for today. We just might see snow late tonight and into tomorrow morning. But, today...major winds and rain as the coast once again gets pummeled. Thankfully, my Wellies are nearby.

"New in town?"- that's the question I ask when I see someone with an open umbrella in these parts. Unless you're Mary Poppins, your umbrella (and smile) are about to be turned inside out.
