Mornin'! It's 52° in Wildwood NJ. It's raining at a decent clip with winds out of the South at 9-11mph. It started raining overnight and will continue to do so off and on until overnight Wednesday into Thursday. Just in time for the Full Moon as it's rising over the ocean's horizon (5:13PM-Thursday) on Thursday evening. We're in a wet stretch for sure. Expect rain today (90% chance)... light, heavy, misty and foggy conditions at various times of the day. Temps will be mild in the mid-50s and with the S-SW winds at 15-25mph +gusting and I'm sure it'll feel nasty outside this start to the week. Tonight... more rain (70% chance) with temps in the low-50s and S-SW winds at 15-25mph. Tomorrow... a repeat of today. The Full Moon is in 3 days so expect much higher than normal tides as tidal flooding has been reported for the island. Don't drive through tidewaters. Beginning tonight... the George Redding Bridge (the Rio Grande Ave. Bridge attaching Wildwood to the outside world) will be closed from 12/9-12/11 from 8PM to 6AM for those 3 nights. There's a huge sewer project being completed at the intersection at Susquehanna and Rio Grande Aves as the other option for traversing on and off the island will be North Wildwood's bridge (causeway).
High tide: 5:37AM and 6PM
Low tide: 11:43AM
Ocean temp: 46°
Sunrise: 7:05AM
Sunset: 4:39PM
