Worm Moon Weekend

Mornin'!  Happy Birthday to my baby sister!  This blog entry is dedicated to her today!
It's 48° in Wildwood NJ.  Ms Sun just rose over the horizon welcoming a new day. Another beautiful day is on our weather menu.  There's barely a breeze out of the NW at 1-2mph.  It's a lovely Spring morning.  Expect another mostly sunny (some clouds by the afternoon), pleasant day with temps in the low-mid 60s.  By the way, we reached an amazing 80° yesterday and haven't been at the temperature since mid-September.  There were folks enjoying a pleasant beach day yesterday! Today's winds will be out of the S-SW at 5-10mph and not near as stiff as yesterday's. Tonight... cloud cover thickens, temps drop to the upper 40s and S-SE winds will be 10-15mph as the possibility of rain showers is 70%.  Tomorrow... rainy day ahead.  Expect 100% chance of rain, temps in the low 60s and March winds out of the South at 20-30mph +gusting.  It's the Full Moon as well even though it appears full now, it's actually tomorrow at 2:50PM.  We'll probably see tidal flooding during this rain event during the high tide times.  This Full Moon is known as the Worm Moon which was thought to refer to the earthworms that appear this time of the year due to the soil warming and inviting the birds of Spring to feed. Monday... sunny but extremely windy.
