Mornin'! It's 38° in Wildwood NJ. We're kicking off Thursday with clear, sunny skies as Ms Sun rose almost an hour ago. Breezes are relatively light out of the NW at 5-10mph. There's a very light wind chill: 34°. It'll be a sunny to partly sunny day with a high of 47° and those NW winds kicking up at 15-25mph +gusting. Why not? Tonight... clear, low of 27° and NW winds still kicking at 15-25mph +gusting. Tomorrow... sunny and colder (high of 39°) and windier... NW at 20-30mph +gusting. Saturday and Sunday... looking clear and cold (temps in the mid-upper 30s) and not as windy. It actually looks like the first weekend in March won't be blustery. I wonder why? So, last night as I was putting some trash in the can outside, I happen to look at the twilight sky down my street and lo and behold... there's a pink cloud just standing alone in the twilight sky. It waited until I could go in the house and grab a camera and take some shots of it and then post it on my Instagram account. I didn't hear anything until this morning that it was vapor from a rocket launch on Wallops Island VA for the defense department. Thus, today's blog photo. It was a bit unsettling to watch as it eventually vaporized into the night sky.
