Stormy Sunday

Mornin'!  It's 51° in Wildwood NJ.  As this final weekend in March closes out, we're under thick cloud cover with misty, damp, raw conditions. In fact, droplets of rain are now on my upstairs skylight as I think today's rains may have checked in. Breezes are out of the S-SE at 15-20mph, add to that the sound of the ocean's waves crashing, along with that salty brine in the air making today's weather drama even more striking.  Not much in the line of sunshine on today's weather menu as we're pretty much going to have a "near" washout with rain showers and even possible thunderstorms.  Some storms could be severe.  One forecast reported we could also be breaks in the rain system as it could stop and start throughout the afternoon into the evening.  Temps will rise a bit to the upper 50s with South winds ramping up at 20-30mph +gusting.  Chance of rain... 80%.  Tonight... 95% chance of rain and still very windy.  Winds will be out of the West at 20-30mph +gusting at 40mph.  Temps are going to drop down into the the low-40s.  Remember, the Full Moon was this weekend and those high tide times will be higher than normal and we could see possible tidal flooding on the island.  Be conscious of where you park and don't drive through flood waters. Tomorrow... Ms Sun returns with a high of 54° but those March winds will not disappoint... W-NW at 20-30mph +gusting over 40mph.  Tuesday... everything changes... sunny, warmer and hardly a breeze.
