Last Weekend Of August

Mornin'!  It's 73° in Wildwood NJ.  Ms Sun's up and shining through the morning haze as August winds down.  It's humid... 96% humidity with a 71° dewpoint.  It's still as the breeze is in absentia (actually it's out of the W-NW at 1-3mph if you want to call it a breeze).  We had some 20-25mph breezes yesterday as I just spent some time in my backyard picking up the tree debris first thing this morning.   Expect a much calmer, hazy day with a mix of sun and those Cirrostratus clouds which have the appearance of a veil as they're thin and see-through.  By the way, you can get seriously sunburned as you can't feel the sun as intensely through these type of clouds.  There's a 25% chance of a passing shower and/or thunderstorm this afternoon (keep your eye on the sky).  Temps will be in the mid-80s with E-NE breezes at 5-10mph.  Tonight... a few clouds and even some foggy conditions with temps down to where they are now... low 70s and Easterly breezes at 5-10mph.  It's the New Moon today.  Guaranteed higher than normal tides this weekend due to the moon's gravitational pull.  And, if we were to get a thunderstorm with those heavy tropical rains passing through during high tide times, coastal flooding is almost a guarantee. Tomorrow will be much like today with a slight possibility of a passing shower (20% chance) as the sky will be hazy again with warm 80° temps and breezes out of the E-SE at around 10-15mph.
