Sunny Sunday

This Morning's Web Cam Shot - N. Wildwood

Mornin'!  It's 73° in Wildwood NJ.  Humidity's 97% with a dewpoint of 74°.  Breezes (if you want to call them that) are 2-3mph out of the S-SW.  We're under some beautiful morning cloud cover with Ms Sun up and over the horizon.  Every so often the sky brightens with gold sunshine as the clouds looks amazing with those warm pastels.  It's warm and humid outside with that ol' fishy, briny thickness in the air.  Even with the shockingly, intense scene of all the cars parked (almost touching) in every single available space (some not so available as many are taking those yellow-lined "illegal" parking spaces) as their cars are parked right up to the Stop Signs and Crosswalks.  I found 2 beer cans, 1 beer bottle and a little purse (no ID) full of change on the front of my property this morning.  It's another very crowded weekend in Wildwood.  In fact, I'm going to say that it's like this on every east coast beach right about now.  Did you know that (at least for Wildwood), the last 2 weeks of July and the first two weeks of August are the most crowded of the entire summer along the Shore? It's whats called "The Peak Season".  All motel rooms and rentals are the most treasured as well as the most expensive.  Let's not forget that it's also the hottest, tropical-like weather this time of year.  Today will be no exception.  Remember to have water with you to keep hydrated and help with beating the heat!
For today's weather, expect sun and clouds with temps in the mid-upper 80s (probably low-90s). S-SW winds at 15-20mph with some gusting are on tap for the next couple days (pack a bungee for that beach umbrella).  Tonight... clear to partly cloudy with temps in the mid-upper 70s and S-SW winds at 15-20mph.  Tomorrow... mostly sunny, temps in the upper 80s (no doubt hitting the 90s) with S-SW winds at 15-20mph.  Tuesday... it'll be sunny and warm with those stiff breezes simmering back down.  The next rainy day looks like it could be Thursday, but for the most part an overall nice week ahead.  Speaking of Thursday... it's Full Moon Thursday!
