A Mix Of Sun And Clouds

Mornin'!  It's 47° in Wildwood NJ.  Ms Sun just crossed the horizon in the clear, morning sky.  Breezes are light out of the E-NE at 3-5mph.  The ocean's roar is incredible this morning.  I can hear it even with all my windows closed.  What's weird is that there are no clouds above insulating the noise coming from 6+ blocks away.  I say "6+" because if you walk to the beach from my house it's 6 city blocks but then you get there and then add about another 500 yards of beach, making for quite a bit additional traversing through the sand to get to the ocean.  It's a nice walk.  This morning it actually sounds like the roar of a busy rush-hour highway near by.  And, all I can guess is that it's a very rough ocean by the sound of it.
It's going to be a little of this and a little of that today in the weather department.  Expect a mix of clouds and sun with temps in the mid-upper 60s and E-SE winds at 5-10mph. The clouds will increase as the day develops.  Tonight... mostly cloudy, a 20% chance of rain showers, temps in the upper 50s and SE winds at 5-10mph.  Tomorrow... rain (70% chance) with increasing winds and even a chance of a thunderstorm later in the day.  Temps will be mild... mid-upper 60s as those S-SE winds will be ramping up to 20-30mph +gusting.  The rains will continue into the Friday overnight right into Saturday morning along with those very gusty stiff winds as they have no intention of checking out.  Temps will stay somewhere in the 60s.  Sunday... temps will be in the low-mid 50s with partly sunny / partly cloudy skies and still very breezy. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that Nicole (now an official Hurricane) is pounding Florida (this time hitting the West coast) as I type. She's the first hurricane in 37 years to hit the Coast of the US in the month of November.  I doubt that global warming will stop anytime soon. I can say with certainty... not in my lifetime.  God bless everyone in the path of Hurricane Nicole.  We will be feeling her presence here along our coast with rain, winds and of course a very angry ocean and more beach erosion in the next couple days.
