Mornin'! It's 34° in Wildwood NJ. And, that's not a windchill. Windchill is 32°. There's a bit of frost on that pumpkin this morning! Hubby keeps mentioning the new Canna Lilies. I planted new baby bulbs in the Spring and have had a very successful growing season this summer and fall as they obviously won't survive the winter if I don't dig up those bulbs for winter storage. My guess is this week will be the "dig up" as frozen soil will be their demise. For now, we're still enjoying their beauty. Anyway... it's a clear and sunny morning without a cloud in the sky. Breezes are out of the North at 3-5mph. It'll be a lovely autumn day with abundant sunshine, temps in the low-mid 50s and winds that are light and variable. Tonight... clear, temps in the low-mid 40s and West winds at 10-15mph. Tomorrow... sunny, temps in the mid-50s and N-NW winds at 15-25mph. Even though we're nearing the end of hurricane season (June 1st - November 30th), there's a tropcial depression in the Caribbean forming as I type. The weather folk are keeping close watch (as am I) on that one. It could possibly enter the Gulf by week's end. Our weather couldn't get any prettier as the sunshine and 50° temps will be staying checked in this entire week ahead.

Fantastic picture of garden. Is so perfect that at first I thought that it was pictures
of a garden painted on a wall.
Here in the Ozarks, the 3rd worst gardening season ever (even worse than the drought of 2012)
with drought continuing.
It was so refreshing to see a beautiful and healthy garden. Thanks for the uplift!!

Thanks so much T! I'm so sorry that you've been dealt another drought. I can only imagine. But, I have to admit that was amazed at how lovely those little bulbs did. Thankfully, I have a small garden and am able to feed and water it when nature doesn't provide. I really do appreciate a "small" backyard garden. It also makes me happy that it give you the uplift that it does me too!
