Full Moon Tuesday

Mornin'!  It's 68° this somewhat hazy morn in Wildwood.  Temps will climb up into the high 70's possibly tapping the low 80's today as the warmth and humidity begin to build.  Our sneak preview of Autumn is coming to an end for now.  It'll be mostly sunny and a bit on the hazy, slightly overcast side today.  Breezes will be out of the NW initially then shift from the South later this afternoon all at a gentle 5-8mph.  It's Full Moon time again as August is the month of the Full Sturgeon Moon. Some Native American tribes knew that the sturgeon of the Great Lakes and Lake Champlain were most readily caught during this full Moon. Others called it the Green Corn Moon or the Grain Moon. It's also the "Blue Moon" as it's the 3rd of 4 full moons to take place between the Summer Solstice and Autumn Equinox.
High tide:7:52a.m.
Low tide:1:47p.m.
Ocean temp:73°
Sunset:7:48p.m.
Moonrise:7:15p.m.
