First Friday in August

Mornin'!  It's 68° in cloudy, overcast Wildwood.  Ms. Sun is due in about a half hour and not sure if the clouds will move aside for her or not.  We have a spot of humidity at the moment as temps are comfortable but it's still muggy and damp outside. Yesterday's monsoon rains gave the island a really good saturation (not to mention flooding).  Once again those early rising seagulls are welcoming the day with loud laughter with no consideration to the sleepy vacationers.  It's looking like a beach day as these clouds will eventually move aside allowing Ms. Sun get through some of the gray haze and shine while temps ease back up into the low 80's.  Not a breeze to write about but they're coming later this morning.  First from the W-NW and shifting from the West and eventually from the SW at 10-15mph.  Could have a brief shower overnight.  We could have showers tomorrow as well (30% chance).  My bets are on a "beach day" so pack up the beach cart and make it happen.
High tide:5:44p.m.
Low tide:11:05a.m.
Ocean temp:75°
Sunset:8:10p.m.
