2011 North Wildwood beach after Irene |
Mornin'! Two years ago today was my first evacuation due to Hurricane Irene hitting our Shore. It's 73° under partly cloudy skies this early morn. Humidity's been creeping back up. Rain is forecasted for today (40% chance) as a cool front approaching later will bring with it rain and an increased chance of showers and/or thunderstorms. We still may see peeks and of sunshine as the temps tap the 80° mark again. Winds will be coming from the West all day at mostly 10-13mph with some variations. Keep in mind West breezes bring those pesky, biting greenhead flies. Prepare accordingly. Tonight...partly cloudy with a chance of rain (40% chance). Low
of 72°. Winds from the West at 5 to 10 mph.
High tide:1:37p.m.
Low tide:7:40p.m.
Ocean temp:74°
Sunset:7:37p.m.
