May Sunday

Mornin'!  It's 58° in Wildwood this 1st Sunday in May!  Happy May!  Haven't had the chance to write that one yet on the ol' blog.  I did do a toast for the coming of May on May 1st while in Key West this past week.  I may have toasted everything in sight last week as a matter of fact!  I did keep a daily check of the weather here to only find the week to be a rainy, chilly, raw blustery one and we couldn't have picked a better weather week to go away.  We had not one drop of rain in the Keys.  But, did have a blast of some intense summer weather and heat as the porch thermometer posted 90° more than once.  What a weird feeling to get such a quick, intense taste of summer in such a quick snap.  It was incredible to be with the humidity and Palms and tropical plants.  I hated leaving all that summer behind.  This coming week is not looking too shabby here at the Shore as we may not see rain until next weekend.  The long range forecast is predicting a clear and sunny and mild week ahead.  For today's weather at the Jersey shore...nice.  It'll be sunny and clear with temps in the mid-upper 60s as winds wift (I mean waft) in from the W-SW at 15-20mph.  Tonight...back into the 50s.
Life is good!
