Major "Humma-ditty" today

Mornin'!  It's 77° in Wildwood.  It's quiet, very still (no breezes) and thick with humidity (96%).  Hubby just said "wait till you go out there...we're living in South Africa this morning."  We're in the soup.  My father once called days like this "humma-ditty" days.  We're in the thickness of the start to a hot one. It's overcast and some morning rain showers are in the forecast.  It'll hit 90° today once Ms Sun's in the mix and she's due to check in today.  It'll be mostly sunny today with a mix of some clouds as we hit the 90s and winds commence from the W-SW at 5-10mph.  A stray shower or thunderstorm is possible throughout the day (20% chance).  Tonight...a few passing clouds with that ol' chance of a stray shower and/or thunderstorm remaining in the lineup (20% chance).  Temps will drop down into the low-mid 70s with winds out of the W-SW at 5-10mph.  Be aware of those West winds as they can bring the biting green head flies so pack some insect repellant with that sun block. Keep your eye on the sky (or doppler) today for any pop-up stormy weather. Tomorrow looks like it'll be much like today. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday look like keepers.

Now that we're the height of tourism season and crowded beaches...take heed:
Beach Etiquette tips:
   ~remember to take your trash.
   ~remember to take your cigarette butts (or just don't smoke and pollute the lovely sea air).
   ~remember to pack your headphones (believe it or not no one wants to hear your music).
   ~kindly give your neighbors space and careful not to place your umbrella,chair or blanket too close.
   ~give your kids a quick lesson on "no running on others blankets or towells"
   ~give your kids another lesson on running too close to beach goers to avoid kicking sand on them.
   ~don't play ball, frisbee or fly kites near other beach goers.
   ~don't feed the seagulls (if possible eat under your umbrella) as these vultures will swoop down and
     pluck that food right out of your hand and create havoc around your beach area.
   ~shake towels or beach blankets away from others who are enjoying their beach time.
   ~follow posted warnings and pay attention to lifeguards.
