Friday Mix

Mornin'!  It's 41° in Wildwood.  We've got clear starlit skies and the aroma of the sea in the light early morning breezes.  Ms Sun's on her way (for awhile anyway).  It'll be a sunny start but will become partly-mostly cloudy today with temps in the mid-upper 50s (we got up to 56° yesterday). Breezes will be out of the SW at 12-15mph to start with then shift from the S-SE at 13-15 toward late afternoon/early evening as it becomes overcast.  Tonight...low-mid 40s with light rain (100% chance) and breezes out of the SE at 10-15mph.  We'll probably wake to those overnight showers but by the Polar Plunge time in Wildwood at 1p.m. it should be clear sky and sunny but sorry to say the winds will be out of the W-NW at 20-25mph. Air temps should tap 50° and the high tide will be right around plunge time so you'll have less beach to traverse!  My advice if you're plunging...have someone standing by with giant towel and/or robe and most importantly...some sort of footwear.  By the way, the water temperature is 47°.  Sunday...cloudy again and back into the 30s.  Just saying.
High tide:11:55a.m.
Low tide:5:52p.m.
Ocean temp:47°
Sunset:5:02p.m.
