My Aerial of Wildwood NJ |
Mornin'! It's 55° in Wildwood. It's raining at a pretty decent clip. Winds are stiff off the ocean (SE 25-35mph) and there's a Coastal Flood Advisory as well as Hazardous Weather Outlook posted! It's a little intense. The winds will provide some havoc as they could gust up to 40mph. That will make the rain will feel like one of those exfoliating days down the shore with the ol' sloughing of water, sand and salt on the skin. It's all good. But the best part is the temps will tap 60° today. I've checked 5 forecasts and 4 out of 5 said rain and winds today right into the evening. One said we'll have sun by this afternoon. I'm going with the one standing alone which has been the forecast for the last 4 days and that is... rain on Sunday morning and warm and sunny by this afternoon. One thing for sure is the winds aren't going anywhere except shift direction (later to the West at 25-35mph w/gusting up to 40mph). Not only that, they'll provide higher tides, beach erosion, street flooding (it's New Moon time too) and a big change in the temperature. That comes late tonight and into the overnight...down into the low 30s from 60° this afternoon (shrug of shoulders). Tomorrow...colder mid-upper 30s but all day sun and blue sky!
High tide:7:49a.m.0
Low tide:2:05p.m.
Ocean temp:48°
Sunset:4:57p.m.
