Mornin'! It's 46° in Wildwood. The morning sky is like a jigsaw puzzle...sections of clouds here and pieces of blue sky there. On the East side the clouds are obscuring Ms Sun but there's enough clear sky helping her through the rise & shine and my guess is within an hour...she'll be shining brightly over the island. Those clouds are making the first sound you hear when you step outside...the surf crashing. There are breezes out of the E-NE at 11-14mph and the aroma of the sea is a perfect way to begin the weekend. Not to mention...a few hours extra sleep I grabbed! It'll be nice today down the shore (as Winter goes) as the temps will climb up into the low 50s with breezes off the ocean at just about the clip they are now. Ms Sun will be shining down amidst the cloud cover as we'll have a mix of clouds and sun all throughout the day until the clouds take over completely. Tonight...upper 40s and 80% chance of showers with breezes out of the East at 15-25mph. It still looks like we'll be waking to those showers not to mention some heavy duty winds tomorrow. Tomorrow night...this rainy weather system will check out but leave much colder temps. Remember today's the New Moon...higher tides!
High tide:7:08a.m.
Low tide:1:21p.m.
Ocean temp:50°
