Ides of March

North Wildwood - 2nd and JFK Blvd. Jetty
Mornin'!  It's 25° in Wildwood NJ.  It's cloudy and windy (W-NW at 30-35mph).  It's 11° wind chill factor.  Seems like ages ago that it was quiet and mild outside.  But hey...we never got any snow yesterday (like our friends in the Reading PA area - receiving 22" of snow).  We just had relentless, driving, sideways rains with some major street flooding until mid-morning and yes...for that I'm very grateful.  After the rains, the winds stuck around and dried us up very nicely.  The winds continue to be the main event as they'll bring some heavy cloud cover today with snow showers later this morning (40% chance).  We could possibly see ½ - 1" of the white stuff today.  It'll be mostly cloudy with some peeks of sun here and there today with temps in the low 30s and winds out of the West at 25-35mph with gusting up to 50mph.  Tonight...partly cloudy with temps in the low 20s and those West winds still ramped up at 20-30mph. Tomorrow...Ms Sun checks back in with 25mph winds checked in right along with her. At this time the weekend's looking 50-50...Saturday being the grayer (possibly the wettest - 60% chance of rain) of the two days as a mix of mostly sun with clouds and winds are on tap for Sunday.  It's gonna feel wintry cold for a little while longer I'm sorry to say...but hey...it's March!  And speaking of which...today is "The Ides of March"...the day that Julius Caesar was assassinated in 44b.c.
