Welcome February!

Mornin'!  It's 41° in Wildwood NJ.  February's kicking off with a winter storm.  There's a "Storm Warning" posted down the Shore.  It's currently raining with NE winds at 20-30mph +gusting.  No snow on the ground here... just wet and not much in flooding around my streets.  Rain is likely this morning as temps go up a couple degrees (43°) today.  It'll stay windy until at least tomorrow night as today's winds will be wild out of the NE at 25-30mph +gusting up to 50mph.  It's looking like we'll probably not get the snow they originally predicted.  Although, the various weather sources I research prior to posting are all conflicting with each other.  One says snow today (3-5 inches) and one says rain only.  Another says a wintry mix.  With the temps in the 40s, I'd say that we may see a wintry mix but 3-5 inches doesn't seem to make sense.  One thing's for certain... it'll be a wet day with intense winds (N-NE 20-30 +gusting).  Tonight... rain and/or a wintry mix with a chance of snow (couple inches) overnight into Tuesday.  Temps will drop into the low-30s with NW winds at 20-25mph +gusting.  Tomorrow... cloudy, possibly a dusting of snow with temps in the mid-upper 30s and those NW winds still checked in.  We will get some tidal flooding so keep a watch on the high tide times and where you drive and park your vehicle.  Remember too that high tides are an hour later on the back side (marsh/bay) of the island.
