Mornin'! It's 72° in Wildwood NJ. Humidity's 84% with a dew point of 66°. We're under cloud cover with Ms Sun beginning to peek through. It's a bit breezy with winds out of the NE at 15-20mph. Some amazing tropical rains overnight provided more than enough watering and yet everything's dried out. No puddles, no damage, no aftermath after the torrents and thunder and lightning storms serenaded us throughout the night. I couldn't rest and get into a deep sleep until around 3am. We may see some more rain before 10am today but it'll be a day with sunshine and clouds mixed in. It's much cooler than it's been as of late and if you're into finally opening up the windows for the salty breeze in the house, go for it. I'm sticking with air conditioning and a closed up house at least for a little while longer. Temps will barely tap 80° today with partly to mostly cloudy skies, E-NE winds at 10-20mph +gusting. Tonight... considerable cloudiness with a 25% chance of a stray shower or thunderstorm. Temps in the low 70s with East winds at 5-10mph. Tomorrow... mostly cloudy, peeks of sun, high of 78° and East winds at 10-15mph. It's was 7 months ago today that Fred has left us and since Tropical Storm "Fred" has its sights on the Gulf again and planning on making landfall by tomorrow, I couldn't put any photos up on the blog other than our Fred's photos. As for this storm, we'll probably feel its effects this Wednesday and Thursday. Unlike last week, this week's weather here in Wildwood isn't going to be as courteous to its Visitors and Vacationers. But, today's blog is for Fred! We're still missing you terribly! Summer's certainly not the same without you!
