Welcome June! Welcome Hurricane Season!

Mornin'!  It's 65° in moist Wildwood.  The ocean breeze has been non-stop wifting (I mean wafting) over the island for almost 24hrs. straight and it's bringing that moist, sea-air over us.  The plants and gardens are happy as everything's misted with damp, salty wetness (including my bedsheets) which are next to the opened bedroom windows (I love it but it's an acquired feel).  It's cloudy as Ms Sun's not the show stopper this morning.  There is some clearing and brightness up there but it's mostly a cloud covered sky. It's a tad breezy (South at 16-18 mph) and so far no rain.  Once again, the forecasts are predicting showers and/or thunderstorms developing today (50% chance).  Temps...upper 70s.  Winds will remain out of the South all day into this evening.  Rain's in tonight's forecast as well.  In fact, it's in tomorrow's and Wednesday too.  Remains to be seen...remember last week...they were all saying "rain", "rain" and "more rain" and we never got a drop. I'd keep my eye on the sky and proceed with seashore activities. Oh, by the way it's the first day of hurricane season.
