High Wind Warning Monday

Mornin'!  It's 38° in Wildwood NJ.  It's clear (moonlit and starlit) with winds sounding like high-speed trains roaring outside my front door from the NW at 30-40mph w/gusting.  There's a "high wind warning" posted until 6p.m.  That means  there's a great potential for extreme high winds throughout the day into this evening.  Impacts...damaging winds can blow down trees and power lines.  Isolated power outages should be expected.  Travel especially for high profile vehicles could be difficult. 40-50mph gusts can lead to property damage. Precautionary/preparedness should be taken.  I'm just reporting what's posted.  What wasn't posted is that it'll be a major bad-hair day. And, that this is a preview of March on the island. Today's temps should hover around 40° as Ms Sun's checking in at least until Wednesday. I'm guessing quite a chill factor too as sun or no sun...those wicked winds go right through you. If in need of a good facial...head to the beach for some major sloughing of your exposed skin with the biting sand pellets. Tonight... windy (NW 15-25mph) but not as intense as during the day with clear skies and temps in the low 30s.  The winds will be checking in again on Thursday.
High tide:9:29a.m.
Low tide:3:34p.m.
Ocean temp:41°
Sunset:5:36p.m.
