Wet Monday

Mom and her tinsel - mid 50s
Mornin'!  It's 47° in Wildwood NJ.  It's raining lightly with winds out of the NE at 10-15mph.  It's the perfect weather to stay in bed.  It's the worst weather for a Monday.  Personally, I never was a fan of Mondays (not sure why) but adding a gray, raw, cold, wet, breezy morning to the Monday mix was almost excruciating for me when in the workforce.  This Monday is one of the best as I have nowhere to be and nothing to do except maybe make some homemade soup and bake some Christmas cookies.  Perfect weather for that.  Expect periods of rain (100% chance) with it being heavy at times.  Winds will ramp up to 10-20mph with a high of 44° making it feel like 34°.  By dinner time, the rain should stop as it'll be just cloudy.  Today's stiff winds... N-NW at 10-20mph will give us that nice windchill... but by tonight and the overnight... mid-upper 20s.  Tomorrow... Ms Sun is back!  It'll be much colder than it's been though with a high of 40° (if we're lucky).  We were spoiled yesterday and it got up to a 63° sunny day!  No meteor shower last night due to the thick cloud cover. It is the New Moon today and the possibility of island flooding in low-lying areas is very possible as today's rains could get dicey.  Also, the back bay / marsh side of the island gets the high tide an hour after the ocean's high tide.  I almost forgot to mention Wednesday when a big Nor'easter is headed in this direction.  Unlike the Philly and Philly suburb areas, we're going to have a rain event. Lots of major winds and rainfall.  No snow but I'm sure more flooding for the island.
