Christmas Eve

Mornin'!  Happy Christmas Eve!  It's 52° in Wildwood NJ.  It's cloudy and blustery and relatively mild.  Winds are out of the S-SE at 22-26mph.  There's a mid-west blizzard heading in our direction while I blog.  Along our Coast... no blizzard but it'll be a big stormy, rain event.  Today starts out to be a gray, blustery and a wild Christmas Eve (in the weather department) with 30% chance of showers and a high of 57°!  Winds will pick up even more out of the S-SE at 25-35mph +gusting by late this afternoon.  Tonight... the rains and big winds come. There's a 100% chance of rain (1-2" expected) with winds out of the South at 25-40mph +gusting (some as high as 60mph) as Santa will have quite a tail wind.  Wildwood will no doubt have tidal flooding and beach erosion with this Christmas winter storm.  There's a Full Moon next Tuesday that could have a bit of an impact on the tides and flooding. Be aware of those low-lying areas that often flood.  Christmas day looks gray and wet and windy with 70% chance of rain, high of 54° with temps falling into the 30s and W-SW winds sustained at 20-30mph +gusting. The weekend continues to look sunny and cold with these winds to finally sdown.
