Hazy, Hot and Humid Monday

Mornin'!  It's 73° in Wildwood NJ.  Ms Sun's up and shining!  It's a warm one with humidity at 91% along with a Dew point of 73° and SW breezes at 9-12mph.  It's warm but lovely. It'll be a perfect beach day with plenty of sunshine (some wispy clouds in the mix), temps in the mid-upper 80s and Southerly breezes at 10-20mph.  Tonight... partly cloudy with temps in the low-70s and S-SW winds at 15-25mph.  Tomorrow... almost a repeat of today with abundant sunshine, temps in the mid-upper 80s and S-SW winds at 10-20mph.  Remember those posted Friday beach tips today... pack the sunblock, water, head covering, footwear, umbrella etc etc. as it'll be a hot one on the beach. Oh... don't sit on top of your neighbor!

Update on your sister living in Washington State please. Does she have air conditioning?
Bet you didn't think you would be doing weather for 2 states, on opposite coasts, when you started this blog!
Thanks,
T

Thanks for your concern Tina. Yes... she has air conditioning. Thankfully. Here's the latest on Vancouver WA... the day started at 80° with no breeze for my sister. She's working from home and staying hunkered in her A/C at least until Wednesday (maybe Thursday). She's doing some preparedness as her concerns are mostly her gardens that she's spent many hours and $$ on (veggies and flowers). She's covered everything with gardening cloths to keep it out of the direct sunshine) and waters it regularly a couple times a day. But, once outside she noted that she needed to wear a glove to handle the hose as it was so hot and her breathing became labored. When I asked if there's any sort of breeze, she said, "No, but while outside I walked around the side of the house and a little breeze came over me and it felt like I had just opened a hot oven door". It's 114° right now at 4PM (her time). Just amazing stuff.
